A Generous Celebration

Hello Future Fit Foods Fans:

Today we celebrate #GivingTuesday, a movement that began nine years ago to inspire people and communities to join together to give back and celebrate generosity.

GivingTuesday's big idea is that when we put generosity at the heart of the society we build together, we are also helping unlock dignity, opportunity, and equity around us. Making our community more resilient.

What would our food systems look like if they were designed to be generous, humanizing to the people and natural ecosystems involved? How would that change the food, the soil, and the livelihoods involved locally and across cultural borders?

Future Fit Foods was founded formally a year ago to place people and the planet’s well-being at the heart of our product design and business decision-making.

While it’s still early days for our small company and the community you’re building, you can be sure that there is a lot of generosity cooked into our food proposition and the choices we’re making on your behalf every day behind the scenes.

At Future Fit Foods, we’ve chosen to source organic ingredients for our soups that command higher prices for farmers better soil practices, and better quality for you; with the ambition to bring in some regenerative source ingredients next year.

We are building a network of nearly twenty ingredient and packaging suppliers that value transparency, sustainability, and collaboration.

And we are showcasing how using packaging made from industrial compostable materials is possible and that food makers can make it easier for people to close the loop by offering ‘takeback’ programs like ours. A social experiment to say the least. Thanks to all of you who chose to send back their packaging. We will be releasing the results of the take-back program in the near future.

No, we’re not perfect and we will never be perfect, but we are working very hard to create a food business model that is healthy for you and the planet with all the flavor you desire.

Future Fit Foods is just a small part of the changing picture of food. We believe that our Future Fit Foods fans have enormous power to change our food systems, one generous and thoughtful act at a time.
